Depending on the deployment of this software by your IT administrator, any of the following methods can be used to logon into ADSelfService Plus.
Some IT administrators may prefer accessing ADSelfService Plus from your organization's intranet site. In that case,
1 GINA/CP:
In case, you had forgotten your password, but still want to launch ADSelfService Plus from your computer, this set up is very useful. In such situations, click on the ”Reset Password /Unlock” button added to your logon prompt screen (Ctrl+Del+Alt).However, this kind of access is available only when your IT administrator has installed ADSelfService Plus GINA component on your machine.
How to know if the administrator has installed GINA component on your machine?

2 Gina/CP Free:
This is another way of launching ADSelfService Plus from your own computer, wherein you will be provided with a security account (viz., a privilege offered to the users of ADSelfService Plus) through which you can access the application to reset the password. This method, does not require the installtion of GINA/CP component on your machine and hence the name.
NOTE: GINA/CP and GINA/CP Free are the two modes by which you can use your own computer(even in the case of denied entry) to reset a new password.

ADSelfService Plus has a native app for iPhone using which you can reset your password and unlock your account using your iPhone without depending on other users' computers.

2) Android App
ADselfService Plus has a native app for Android users too. The app has the same features as its iOS counterpart and can be installed on mobile devices running on the Android platform.

You can also access the self-service portal directly from the browser of your smartphone and tablet running on any mobile platform including Android, iOS and Windows Mobile.
Open a web browser from your mobile device.
Type the ADSelfService Plus Portal URL in the address bar of the mobile browser.
For instance, http://<hostname>:8888.
Here <hostname> refers to the machine in which ADSelfService Plus is running and '8888' denotes the port number.
